About me
Hey, I’m Chris Wagenaar, a PhD student at VUSec under Prof. Herbert Bos. I started my PhD in January 2026, and am interested in microarchitectural security.
Before this, I completed both a MSc. Computer Security (cum laude, 156/120 EC) and a BSc. Computer Science (cum laude, honours programme) at the VU . My master thesis was about using dynamic analysis to detect speculative concurrency bugs, which I hope to continue doing research on during my PhD.
